People were calmer and didn’t need a tamer,
The pace now is incredibly unjust
Interrupting others seems to be a must??
Marbles was a past time that did no harm
Now we have gaming apps that are ever so quick
You can’t enjoy the moment of victory
As we live in a worlds that delivers more of a trick.
Space invaders and ping pong were the games we enjoyed
Now it’s angry birds and Texas Holden
The older version was thought provoking, methodical and enjoyable golden..
The future, the now, everything is sporadic and in a rush
Even people my age are rushing and working out the pace,
In an ever changing world where patience is tried
I feel sometimes we are burning ourselves out
Not like the past when you picked up the phone
Instead of tweeting a view
Face to face, with calm.. like it was, me and you.
