I recall the day

I recall the day I never gave in

The devil!s a liar, and wants you to sin.

I am here today

Gone the next,

Clearly life’s a balance, but please do not vex.

Generations come 

And indeed they do go,

One knowing more than the next 

God’s with you, so you don’t need to vex.

Here to live

Here to cry

Here to laugh

And here to defeat the Devil’s wrath.

I love you on this magnificent day

Holding hands or standing alone 

God’s waiting for you to see him on the throne.
