Heaven can wait

Please God

I love my friend,

I know you have to take him one day 

I just have this request that needs to stay.

One day leads to another

Yet I pray for recovery, please just give us time,

I know you are there for me, I am not timid...as the Father shall refine.

Please lord I pray with all my heart

I was hugging him in bed today, where my tears flowed as I know he now can’t depart.

Please lord heaven can wait

Don’t worry for me lord, just put my friend in a humble state.
