A season of hope
A season of loss,
The loss of loved ones
Which comes with a cost.
Struggle to survive
Struggles to stay indoors
Struggles to do your part,
This comes through togetherness and strength
We are all loved through moments of lent.
Durable and bright
Understandable with sight,
Staying strong is where we need to go
This pandemic has impacted on each of our souls.
Love of God provides you hope
We will overcome because that is what we do,
No point saying “knowing my luck”, that brings a frightful fate
Love of one another shall be the way
Endureth belief, is the place we aim to stay.
