Christmas Wonder

A child is born on this most momentous of days.

In a manger, where Mary and Joseph were unable to find any place to stay,

May this day be peaceful, joyful and bring out the best from us 

A day to embrace, a day to trust.

May the harmony and beauty from these words hold true,

Frankincense, Mur and gold 

Deliveres a glorious story to unfold.

 

A baby was born and named Jesus which derived from Greek

A saviour to protect us all and deliver from being weak.

The occasion was joyous in Bethlehem,

A king arised to save us all 

A humble start, in the surge for us to prevent us to fall.

Love, humbleness and attained belief

A beautiful night flickered with sparkling lights,

The lord brought Jesus our almighty king

Hence the words sang “to our new born king”...  

Love, forgiveness and the Holy Spirit

The reason why

We often ask that question

“Why is that person like that?”

Assuming you care for that answer or not

The moment we face challenges and others have their way,

Or is the answer adequate from which shall stay.

I have done things with regret

And others remind me for what I have done

Then moving forward, isn’t life delving into that place?

A place of solitude and rich mounted taste.

If I am patient, can’t you be patient too?

Then again I may lack in an area which belongs to you.

Learning life’s lessons is never ending

You have experience with sore pain galore,

Yet getting it right is not always easy

We are “all different” as people and the paths we take,

Hence this is why this world is so complex 

Yet we are here and embrace the flex. 

Be strong with life 

Don’t worry if you make a mistake 

Others control your actions which is meant in good intent

And the reason why gods given me this gift

From these words I have sent.

Overthinking

Over thinking..  a good or bad attribute?

I rather say indifferent, as the world needs people that constantly thinks,

Yet a balanced view avoids uncertainty and blinks.

Don’t over think, try to hold back

Even the greatest philosophers are deep in thought 

Yet a balanced view point is something we can be taught. 

Clearly you are calm 

And balanced in view, 

Look at it like this 

If you look at an answer in many ways 

It’s a solitary point which ultimately stays.

Be strong in mood and kind to your mind

Yet it needs to be challenged from what you think

Yet having a clear view point

Prevents you to stop and blink.

Aim to your left and follow your right

Yet the only way is to move forward and stay strong,

My opinion? A plethora view has its place

But overthinking does not lead up a final trace.

Learn a new skill
get yourself moving....
wallowing does not help
it leads you to become desperate and needy
I promise with faith, you shall not become greedy.


Open you eyes
go for a brisk walk, and breath in-between,
flourish a positive vibe
as I promise you with divine faith
you shall deflect any kind of wrath.


Stay, strong and be true,
even if times are wary,
you are good and deserve a chance
nothing is gained when you start a sentence with the word 'no'
other subjective views will appear to show.


your spirit will lift
this does not happen overnight,
You need to be strong, even when you feel weak 

when you compose and find

There is then no depravity in the mind.

I love you, that is a start....
I cannot take your worries away or make you feel rich
embellish a time you were once drawn away
and that the outcome, through a fight... you made sure you were ok.

2 Angels

1995 I did not know where to turn

I was too at fault by lying, 

A place where I desperately needed god

As I was endlessly crying. 

The happy tune is that I am a better place now

I thank 2 Angels for a reprieve 

They clothed and housed me 

Like you wouldn’t believe.

They listened to my woes

And embrace my zany humour

I learn to live a new day

These 2 angels gave me a home to stay.

I wasn’t a bad person before

Just a tad confused

I am no different from anybody else

As I ventured into place where I struggled and cried 

Yet these 2 angels gave me hope as I refute to sigh.

I love these people more than words can say

Not even proving a point 

As I felt those times were bleak,

Forever god gave me these two angels

For once I was quite meek.

My Diabetes Prayer

2003 I found out a result that changed my life forever

I started to lose weight and  my eyes were getting blurry,

And my sometimes clear voice started to get a little slurry.

I went to the GP and  that ’D’ word was said,

I thought “ooops, not sure what to do here”

What can I eat? What can I do?

Need more answers, rather than prolonged political clues...

A Mate said “get on with it”

And I confess that’s the best advice I heard 

I faced a tricky couple of months not knowing what to do, 

Yet this curve ball made me strong in dealing with life’s equation, and clues.

I went to D.A.F.N.E. 

Meaning dose, adjust, for, normal eating

A great philosophy to work myself out

As I was heading towards an organ beating!!!

The condition had taught me how to embrace 

What seems a difficult condition that involves   Maths.

“What do you mean?” You night say

Well it’s all about discipline and control

As I learn to pivot forward and demonstrate a sugar contained soul.

The condition isn’t easy but it’s a good challenge to learn, 

You are never alone, I have been where you now face.

Amen dear father I am in such a better dietary place.

“I have Type 1 Diabetes and I just get on with it..”

12 months arrive 

And Christmas captures the light for many,

Lots of drink and heartly food to eat

Festive greetings at this time when we meet.

Please dear lord thank you for welcoming me with friends and family to celebrate baby Jesus arrival,

A day to rejoice and exude 

Hence festive times to bring us into that mood.

May your Day be peaceful, joyous and plenty of fun,

The weather may be cold out there 

As glory comes from the almighty son. 

Smile, laughter and peaceful embrace

This is the time to reflect, give warmth and humble joy.

Perspective for all to see 

This is a mere message, simply coming from me x

Why argue? Sparks fly

A melli of words can lead to people falling out 

As the term “agree to disagree” can lead to a boxing bout.

Debate can be good and debate can be a fine line

Yet the world we live in has peoples perspections 

which can inflict a cause to the debate,

If you know how to throw a punch or cannot come to a conclusion

 then the heat won’t have a solution.

The world needs to fight to get itself out of the place it’s in,

Unnecessary arguments is the place where you start 

Develop an understanding to erode this word art.

Half my life I avoid vexatious souls

Not scared, I’ll tell them straight 

I gym seven times a week

My arms and my words can erode those avoidable words on a plate.

Peace and love 

Calm and silence 

All moments we look to attain.

I was broken once through a breakdown of words,

Now I am rejoice with healthy living and harness to avoid sin 

The fact is... I love you, and that comes from within.

The show must go on,

The drama, the unecessary fights

Learn to be strong and avoid any plight.

Your words could penetrate 

And your arrow may stab my heart,

Yet with determination and guile

Br humble, be a warrior and go with style.

The world struggles with calm

And the world struggles with stillness,

Yet with an eye to see what the world offers 

We can work it through with conversation and a tear,

Please young friend, you have nothing to fear.

Words filled with a challenge

Words said in horror

Facing the demons that are fighting our soul

Fight the trials and tribulation 

As there is a positive, somewhere in the education...

Controlling People

Control can be a good thing 

Yet needs to be used to balance,

Looking to the future as others bring back the past

The thought of moving forward needs to be the focus, and then to last.

I dare not control a person

I would hold temperament and make it worth while

Your past needs to remain there as others will try to hold your arm

Therefore, going forward is the essence to avoid harm.

May the love for me be embellished with the future thoughts to derive

May the future attempts to turn wrong into right 

May an opinion be taken and not shot down

May the words said be understood rather than hitting a frown.

Disagreements happen every day 

Disagreements are apart of life,

You cannot control what a person says

Yet hoping the words are positive and genuine from the heart 

Never lose focus, from the mind nor from which we start.

I love you but acknowledge the feelings are not always recipcropated 

Humbleness with peace and loving from the heart and mind

But remember... controlling another person can be contentious from those no less than blind.

Purpose: “control can be good and indifferent, as long used for good then life shall continue.”

Outburst

Red mist, the words are then released...

Wondering if you said wrong

Or better off singing a karaoke song?

People involved and expletives said

You are better than this

Yet the rawness of the words are fresh

You are still a good person, as this is another test.

Not condoling or even a repentance at this moment in time

Working through the anger exude,

It’s better to go and get a wholesome meal 

regroup for what is real..

I am not perfect and no one will ever be,

Peasants hurt your feelings 

Yet you love them as you attempt to refrain from reeling.

I love to love and I pray to god what was said must be moved on,

Looking at the sky from all the energy released

You are still no less deserving... at the very least.

It’s inevitable

Life, the one we are presented to make each day count

Hurting people and making people laugh

Is what we all can do

Moving on is the essence 

This comes from me to you.

Take your time 

And try not to be hasten with decisions that you take,

Reflect and learn from the moments which arise 

Accept from your higher power

Which allows you to respect gods statue and size. 

Bring on the world 

And the world shall bring itself to you. 

understanding of your soul

Refrains from the time which you encounter a blow.

I have hurt a few people 

And that same has been done to me,

The reality is we cannot avoid the inevitable when 2 souls are not meant to be... 

Nudge and a smile

So easy to fall into a trap,

A trap full of emotions

A legacy to discover a testimonial of devotion.

I once was lured into a dark place,

My choice and my will

I needed to change, for that in a great deal.

I pushed and pushed until one day an angel whispered in my ear. 

The angel said: “look at me, you have nothing to fear.”

The angel continued to say: “Open your heart and release your mind. Those that cannot see, are no less blind.”

I pondered on the words and struggled with the answer I craved to find. 

God willing and humbleness, 

I seeked and there was a release in my mind.

Love is peace 

And peace has no place for war,

The beauty of finding yourself from the higher power, 

Is love conquers all, from the highest tower.

Never alone

Never alone despite the feelings inside

We remain strong today 

Stating it’s great to be alive.

Reading this poem is like a blanket comforting  from the sky,

Look to the heavens and let it all out

Comfort to humility releases a possibility of serenity.

You are worthy and, have every right to a hug

At the most challenging of times.

The smile and warmth an angels sees

Will release a humbleness that is totally pleased.

My eyes well with joy when I know you won’t be alone.

A genius on the baize

No one compares

Yes I’ll write a poem about Selby one day,

Yet it’s Ronnie I am chosing to saviour 

Amen to this genius who glides like a sabre.

Silky snooker silks 

Which comes from hard work and clinical grace,

This fella is something else

He definitely has his place. 

Braced with genius 

And braced with positional skills to match

His brilliance is merely humbled

As yesterday he did not stumble.

Clearly brilliant

Clearly cool

Even the magician named Murphy 

Couldn’t stop this machine... who was no ones fool.

This life

People worst off 

People appreciate it’s not always about them

Learning the truth or an exaggerated lie

Or a seeming situation which could lead to a sigh.

Stay blessed and focused

Stay when there are those less fortunate to have a roof.

Stay calm through the turbulence of life 

Stay loving and chilled 

As you venture into something surrealed. 

Thus Life is yours 

And the decisions you make are owned 

Stay honoured to your word

When when the wreckage of life is there

Look to your future with strength 

As the duration of your life is timed with length. 

Promote peace and not the loudness of life

Be comfortable in silence as it’s hard to remain still.

Remember life needs to be treated with respect

Humble grace endeavoured through a limited length. 

“Peace in silence and harmony in heart and mind”

Fast

The world is rushing like crazy

No one chills and take a step

No one wants to methodically organise

Just rush in the chaos which can lead to a demise.

I try to be positive in the world that we live,

There are kind people out there but do not have the patience to match,

I try to hold back and assess

Hence why I feel sometimes situations are a mess.

I stop, say nothing and do what I can

I have my moments when the tidy of chaos takes me away.

People that rush, put their eggs in one basket

Hence the stress, and will not last it...

People are not patient with themselves 

And expect others to be okay with them,

These are words from the heart and truly within.

I am not saying these people are at all bad, they just need to stop, reflect, learn and attain 

Resolving the chaos from the resilient refrain. 

Consequences attached

There are problems and issues

There is happiness and faith

All four are choices 

From the areas we look to improve and, make.

Be clever with your ideas

Be humble with your intellect 

Be mindful with your haste

Learn to to bring out your better taste. 

Be boastful with Your achievements

And encouraging towards others at the same time

Be nice to those you are not too keen

This makes you avoid, being mean.

Don’t sound like a know it all

When there is so much more you can learn,

Try to be nice to your body, heart and soul

Be balanced at will from gifts you can freely show.

Work through your pain

And remember there is always someone who cares

Even when the lights are turned out

Finding the answers to solutions

Looking towards goals when you are nearly there,

Looking to find happiness when you are content

Learning from lessons, that are heaven sent.

Look to the sky, but you can fly

Look to my children when you get old

Look to humility, when all is calm

Look to capture attainment when there is no harm.

Love thy self when no one else does

Respect your action when you are definitely sure,

Look to the left and then to the right, when you only need to look ahead 

Start to rest well when laying in your bed. 

Hold my hand when no one else is there

Look to hold it together when the ferociousness hits a nerve

Look to the higher power and seek what you can serve.

Look for faith when all else fails

Look to your father in heaven when you are nervous and biting your nails, 

Wear your heart on your sleeve to bring out your joy

Life is based on truth, light and the way

As balance arrives from the glory that I say.

Humbleness

The sheer word holds comfort to the heart,

Going off in a tangent is where humbleness takes place and forbids to part.

To attain confidence yet focus from what is surreal

The essence of life is the taste of the deal.

Life, the bearer of seeds scattered, or put in place

You need to look within, 

stay humble and try

Do not let defeat make you cry. 

A beginning can start as many times as you want

If people don’t believe, then that does not matter.

It’s your life and it does not come with a receipt, like I said before, this doesn’t need to lead to a defeat.

Start the day or week with a smile and a new Day

I tried

Unlucky in love?

Or missed out kissing the princess

You have tried and been true 

Love is a question, especially  when finding a clue.

Is it working or not?

Or have you past a stage?

Try as you might 

Can come with an angry fight.

I can take blame from a situation which arises, 

We try and try again for eternal love 

Yet kissing that person from the heart can lead to an open chamber 

Understanding perspective when 2 become 1 

Nevertheless you need to enjoy and have done fun.

Be nice to your wants 

And be nice to your desires 

Your heart shall be open and true 

Gives perspective from me..,and possibly you? 

Second hand information

If you have something to say please say it to my face,

No point saying behind my back

That is possibly something inside of you that you lack!

Aren’t we suppose to be grown up?

And say it as it is? 

Time is precious as we need to learn and evolve

“Dangerous gossip” has no place and does not solve..

Yes there are times the words do slip

But don’t let be your character, you’ll get unstuck and treated more than a blip. 

I am only observing 

As I do have my flaws

If you care and want to know 

Go to that person and speak 

Rather than coming as second information... adumbfounded leak.

Me

Me.. sometimes happy and sometimes sad

Ain’t we all the same?

I even confess to being slightly mad.

I am meek and yet I can be strong

I learned to be humble 

I am also perplex 

Yet I love eternally 

And sometimes I can become vexed.

I am misunderstood 

Yet I am also loved

I can break free from my chains

I can see clearly as I no longer have stains.

I am bright and I am quick

Yet I love being laid back,

I love giving to others, from that I do not lack.

I am you, and you are me

We all have these attributes 

Yet acknowledging them, only time shall see!

Diabetic Truth

Believe it or not I have learned so much,

This condition can make or break

The moment you learn the formula

You are about to move on, and then take.

You own this condition, it does own you

You learn to digress and move on,

Yes, you make mistakes and learn 

You are the expert now, 

embrace the process you are about to take

This is now you,  own it, go on and make.

People may say “aww, it’s not a nice thing to have”

Yes, the effects can cause harm

Yet I have learned so much about me

Now I am a better person,  can’t you see?

The insulin is my friend 

And methodology is my guide 

This type 1 diabetes condition 

Does not need to be a chaotic ride!!

Turning the other cheek

Stay blessed and remain to have an open heart,

Those who are jealous and bitchy

Can be removed from the very start.

Even the nasty have their story to tell

Yet they face fighting afflictions 

Which manifests a war of atriction. 

A wise man once said “turn away as the hasten side has no place”

We live in a world where there is speed and pace 

Which releases a lack of care

Yet stay true to thyself as the strength remains there.

Life is far too short to embellish in this turmoil of pain,

You are good, 

and you are in it for the here and now 

Run hard and make it happen 

never ending, these are words for one and all

With faith and hope I know we shall never fall.

As these words are processed 

Either agreed or not 

Take a positive word to move with light

Aim for the stars and be true with faith 

You are that good hence avoidance from that difficult word. Yes that’s right.... haste! x

I was once where you are...

Believe me or not, I was once where you are now

Believe me, I am trying to understand your path,

I just don’t want you to face a wrath.

One day at a time you are not in a rush

Yet please listen to me, I love you that much!!

I may not always show it but the love is there

Facing life can be difficult but empathy 

Is something we all can share.

The journey you face can be as exciting or difficult as you want to make,

Love thyself in glory 

As this isn’t just a philosophical story.

Be kind to your heart 

And be kind to your needs 

You are no less deserving
