How to capture peace

​How can you capture peace in your soul?
Allow the spirit withi to guide you and flow,
The are different but they need to connect, 
There is a merciful presence to capture, that is humble and worth it.

It begins with a prayer 
A great way to start the day, 
The blessings you shall receive, welcome them in, that’s the positivity which needs to remain.

It begins with encouragement 
Resentment has no place on this earth,
There are kind people out there, some stay or leave for what it’s worth.

 A friend said to me no man is an island,
And I believe that to be true, 
stay humble, gracious and merciful and that this day shall see the best coming from you.

Patience with thyself

​Who is patient for you?
You of course! 
You don’t need others to antagonise 
Or lead you to show a level of remorse. 

Be patient with you, and then that starts with others as well,
This is why I have written this poem which I am about to tell. 

Be patient with your heart 
Be patient with your mind,
Be patient and be your own example for others to see, 
How? Discern…as what shall be shall be.

Patience is something you need to do on your own, 
And remember with patience, it’s between you and God.. you won’t struggle alone. 

Patience with love
Patience with kindness 
Patience in grief 
And patience to learn
Be kind to yourself on this day, 
Patience is freeing, so on this earth allow the God of your understanding to get in the way!

Accountability

​To confess you are wrong isn’t a bad thing,
The concept shouldn’t entertain an argument, or anything else that notion shall bring.

It’s about being honest, and you are human after all
We can all make mistakes, and that’s speaking from the long hall. 

So be open
What’s the worse that can happen, 
Ego hurt? Pride stabbed a bit, 
You are a child of the almighty, this acceptance of error doesn’t accept grit. 

Be open and honest 
That is what you should expect from you each day
We all will try our best to make it work, as God has the final say.

To admit you are wrong it a strength in its self,
Accountability from the perpetual  side that is what we do
Blessings to secure mental stability, that’s the grasp through the mental glue.

Taking account 
As none of us seeking to do wrong. 
Acceptance is humbling, a spiritual place where be accountable makes you feel strong.

It takes a special person

​it takes a special person to save a life,
It takes a special person to want to be there and remove the blindness of their friend’s or family member’s strife.

It takes a special person who wants to be present in their friends’a or relations’ time of need,
These people are awesome, and it’s not about ‘me’; it’s to remove the challenges of intense suicidal feed.

You see! I have been there when all appeared lost,
When actually I needed Jesus, the Father who died on that cross.

I don’t know what spiritual journey that you are on today, 
I am not speaking of the bible, these are simple words which I need to relay. 

The point that I am making, you don’t need to be on your own, 
These words are for you.. and yes.. you won’t need to be alone.

Reaching out

​The art of asking is not to be ashamed to ask for help!
If you can do, then great!
This is where you are showing a strength and not entering into a questionable side of fate.

The art of asking is to show you are not in this alone,
The art of big heart is to leap at the chance of showing a spiritual side,
It comes with discerning, and not the treachery of overwhelming tide.

We are here, but if you want the help then learn and try to take these words on board,
This is when the pen may be mightier than the sword. 

We can all get scared,
There is nothing wrong with that!
To be taught shouldn’t a sign to ve scared of abuse in itself,
Showing vulnerability is a side where you are showing growth… in restoring your health.

​I am not a doctor 
I am simply a vessel with these words which I write,
We are here today, which means we are able to fight.

I mean fight with hope
And the light which holds within our hearts,
So I send a prayer in your direction as later I shall depart.

No drama
No intense speculation,
Leave that to the pessimists, the ones who believe what they read with tepid and potential defamation.

You are blessed to read these words
You are deserving or not worth serving,
So be at peace with God and you,
That’s the journey I wish to embark.. the rest is what you wonder what next to do.

I know through my almighty Father there is a place we shall be able to go.

We can only try our best and that’s all you can do too,
This life wasn’t meant to be perfect, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be one you can look to ensue.

I received God’s calling

​Don’t judge on the outside 
That’s a decision which belongs to God,
And you don’t need to scrutinise the answer for what took place
Discern your thoughts, God’s held us to avoid carrying out any haste.

Words silent the heart
And can rile a spirit too,
God always has the answer, the path is beset for you to ensue.

Don’t leave your situation right now
God is fighting your corner each and every day
The heavens will ascend one day my learned friend
A balanced conversation shouldn’t cause any harm
Please know that I love you, and that isn’t to cause you any further alarm.

I pray for all of us to get on
But we all have paths which made divide our thoughts,
As along we remain civil, the judgement is God’s linage to be taught.

Speak a little or a lot

​some like a gossip
Some like to ignore those intrusive moments,
If you can’t solve a person’s situation
Then impart look to help their vulnerabilities and persuasion.

If you look for help, then show strength and reach,  
The signs of weakness is a chance to rebuild and reach a new peace.

It’s not about shouting 
It’s about learning how to defuse the situation you are in,
God is holding onto you, but it’s his guide which refutes you to commit any sin.

It’s about hope
 And it’s about the light which you seek,
Everything has its moments and expose it’s riles
As everything will mend and take a while.

​Take your time 
Nothing is forever, 
You may feel it at the time,
A higher power is blessing you, so pray and you’ll be fine. 

Everything has its time 
So say a prayer and walk with God,
This is a few words to provide you with guidance and encourages you to never stop.

It’s about time
It’s about peace, 
The past can’t be brought back,
Kindness moving forward is something  we needn’t detach.

Take your time
Give each task with all you got, 
As you only have this moment, so don’t worry about the time ahead,
Chaos has no place to enter for you and I,
If you revel in that commotion.. I’ll say this… “work on your peace as it’s not only about you… therefore goodbye.”

Hold true to thyself

​Be honest 
They say the truth will set you free, 
You will reflect in this life and in the end all you can do is ‘be’.

A drunk
A cocaine abuser 
Do you get my drift?
It’s through your belief in God which provides you a merciful and gracious gift.

Don’t say “I wish I could do that?”
You are only limited by the means of your mind and heart,
God is with you and provides you with blessings, and that’s simply the general start.

Don’t give in
Never lose focus in your life God provides,
Yes, we can moan and speak that nonsensical topic called ‘politics’, which serves little worth,
It’s what is in your heart and soul which relates to your life.. 
That’s a blessing and a worth to remain alive!

Life changing

​London to Birmingham
I never thought this would ever take place, 
God said to me ‘trust me…. I haven’t yet let you down’
I thank the spirit, which I am happy to re-announce. 

God guided me
I am not scared anymore,
God is our guide, which is not based on religion…. but through spiritual galore.

The spirit guides us
The hope is left with God,
Remain still and do not get frazzled
You are a child of the almighty, and no longer baffled.

The time here has been pleasant and humbling
I am no longer struggling or continued to be stumbling.

Today I am here
Birmingham for now is my home,
As long we have God in our lives, we are no further alone.

Never lose hope…..

​Never lose hope
Never give in, 
My higher power asked me to write this to provide a reprieve
So please read these words, you shan’t be deceived. 

I live with a chronic condition I can’t give up
Life on life’s terms 
You can’t get it all your own way, 
I have contact hypoglycaemia attacks, yet I choose to stay…. For today.

Never give in
I know it’s easier said than done, 
And if you hear those words… “ahh”, then you have allowed the devil to have won.
I won’t lie, I tried to take my own life twice, 

The day 
So these are words said to you and I,
I can now live my life today… as simply today I won’t say goodbye..

Why we need the rooms

​The programme is great,
Don’t take my word for it; attend the meetings,
This is more than the acceptance, encouragement and greetings.

It’s about looking at similarities and do not judge at all,
The big book we work off, but ultimately it’s ‘free will’ and your call. 

The power of the meetings are second to none,
People’s life’s has changed and we as a body of fellowship have become one. 

The main share, the story that you can genuinely relate,
And  how the system of A.A. Refutes the side of any debate. 

Do you want to get well?
Well go into the rooms,
Go with an open mind, this is a powerful message which I preferably want to seek to in-tune.

It’s a day at a time 
None of that full speed ahead, 
Say your prayers at the start of the day and at the end of the evening when you go to bed.

Do you understand a hypo?

​Hypo, the ‘o’ means low
That letter for a diabetic has no place to go,
It feels like vertigo, a place where your heads is in the clouds
And there’s troubles lurking ahead
I pray to God this condition has to regenerate a pancreas where red blood cells are produced and insulin is released to put this condition to bed.

The feeling is awful 
As the insulin keeps people like me alive,
So why isn’t there a operation to recover this need,
The organs will be damaged and the speed of destruction is what it feeds.

I have had this condition for years…
23 years in fact,
I have learned so much about my body, as this pancreas has managed to detach. 

The arrow of blood sugar will point down,
For those with the condition that can cause alarm,
Others who do not live with it and say an erratic remark,
They need to leave this person with this condition, the words won’t help and simply harm.

Prayerful healing …

​Lord we love Yvonne
Cure this disease she has, as it’s a symptom which doesn’t belong.

Lord heal this condition, love will always win,
Rebuke the pain in the name of Jesus,
This moment Yvonne through you Lord she shall look to overcome poisonous sin.

May she be healed and may the prayers win today and forevermore,
A blessing of restoring shall rip out the root cause to its very core.

God is kind and God shall surgically remove, 
Remove any forthcoming illness which may pertain,
Through the almighty Jesus Christ your healing shall start to regain.

Why do we go down to that place?

​Risking a drink can take you to a dark dark place,
That thing called alcohol can exuberant us and then we learn how to waste. 

Alcohol is a killer 
Don’t let it take over your life, 
I almost did, as the struggles mentally tortured the depths of my ambitious heights.

Today I followed a programme
You can too; 
I was powerless to the substance as I was deluded and never had a clue. 

Today I do not drink a drop,
Yes, I am vulnerable but I know that first drink shall kill, 
Today I value my life too much.. and I pray you have a lot to give too,
Your higher power is your guide as God has always got you.

Life on life’s terms

​To reach a place which you think tht shall never change
Then you say a prayer, and then all things shall be rearranged. 

To reach a place and wonder what happened, and you ask yourself ‘why?’
You reach a moment when you look to the sky and give out an almighty ‘sigh’.

To reach a place and wondered why got the people that you have around;
But you learn more about yourself when you provide support and people offloaded onto you,
Leave this with God, that energy you shall start to ensue.

You reach a place and mix with people who have reached a bad place,
You leave their issues with God, who shall shower them with mercy and grace
This is a time of reflection of each of us through the trying times we can all face.

Calming down

​People situations and things, 
And then the chaos starts where you think there is nothing else to bring.

The addiction, 
The kick,
The moments we think will protect us, but no one is available to be seen,
No more peer pressure to take or gulp a drink
Now you have a chance to make amends by honestly starting to think.

The people struggling with addictions can always take the first step
Being low and then succumbing to a mindless fix,
We need to stay with our higher power and getting involved in that mix.

The purpose is for others to help themselves and they can’t do this on their own,
So if you work in the recovery field you are a warrior; as the Angels shan’t allow this negative to be set in stone.

The point this addiction can imprison anyone on this earth,
Getting into the wrong group, or following the incorrect path
Turning the corner is the good news on why recovery is no longer harsh.
