Lord this week will be so hot

The words from people’s mouths may overwhelm, 

Be still and silent, pray for your family, enemies and your friends

Hope in faith is where it belongs and also depends.

Be kind to your soul

Be kind to your needs,

Do not exceed to the max and compare it to others

This moment is about you, so do not shudder.

People embrace in love

People embrace God who meets your timing when required, 

We are going to a spiritual whelm of hope

So look to the vessel you are gifted with and do not elope.

Remember the heat is only temporary

Do not allow it to fry your temperament and irrational thoughts, 

Remember there is coolness on the other side and we do not need to debauch.

The force of the heat 

The temperature is rising,

We all face these season#, that shouldn’t be at all surprising.

Take your time

Stop panting with dramatic moves,

Stop, stay still, pour cold water on you to soothe.

Be strong in the heat

Stay calm and look to the light,

Soon it will be cold, then you wish the heat was within touching sight.

Surround yourself with calm people

Or just let them dram it up,

There ‘ah ha’ panting behaviour is clearly forgettable, and not to savour.

So keep calm, cool and collected

Pray to God first, the light is perfected.

I have no time for questions 

All I want is peace,

People trying to winding you up, the tricks on them as you don’t give them an answer in the least.

All I adore is silence 

And chat when I feel like,

Quietness is a calmness, people you wish to avoid that’s not always a dislike.

Times have change 

Digital tools appear to have taken over,

Sad, especially when pen to paper is a natural compression like the scent of ‘sweet clover’.

That silence is invaluable 

Those questions shall never be answered, because there be more of them than questions

Knowing what the person asks, you have a choice to dismember.

Lord, I pray for my brother and sister

Especially those who feel alone,

I pray they are with you, as they do not need to use a phone.

Lord people are held with you

People don’t know who you are,

You are exemplified and magnificent 

As well as perfect and omnipresent.

Lord I say nothing for those who feel alone 

I simply pray afar, as the conversation doesn’t need to take place,

Stay still and say nothing 

Praying silently is greatly something.

A day with type 1 diabetes

It’s all individual this diabetes lark

For me, I am active, and won’t be left in the dark,

My CGM is beebing

The effects say I am high or perhaps low?

I just what the blood sugars hitting between 4.5 and 7.5

I know I am trying, like us all to stay alive,

I don’t have the patience to listen to others views

I live with the condition,

And trust me, it’s a test and won’t ever amuse.

You may want to talk politics 

Or even like the beautiful crave of sport,

This condition is a fine art

Patience, or balance is learned and needs to come from the heart.

We learn the skill 

We learn to avoid that dread hypo attack,

And then there are those people who make it worse for you! that’s right… those who won’t get off your back.

Turn it about others… and not just you

Pray for these people with a moment of devoted time,

If you are blinded by the glaring truth

Look to your spirit first and tighten up what was loose.

Not towards hate,

love thyself that’s a worthy reflection.

Life sees the future

You can look at the past, 

It hasn’t gone away,

Loving each other is paramount, so does colour need to be in the way?

 

Yes, shit has happened 

People stirring a pot of blindness, 

Colour isn’t my focus after all, it’s my walk with God that brings me and others the beauty of kindness.

Ain’t we all fallen?

Nasty people have always been around,

I rather love without seeing a type

Stay humble and try not to ever gripe.

The world isn’t perfect

Love has won over colour and sexuality all day,

No need to put others down, that is simply pointless and needs to be eliminated by narrow minded peoples’ brain.

I can’t allow others political views to land on my head, 

Didn’t Martin Luther King Junior say: “We want to live in a world where a person shouldn’t be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the mere contents of their character.”

Holding true to thyself and breakdown many barriers.

When tomorrow eventually reaches

Simply give thanks that it has arrived,

One day we shall be with our loved ones, the ones that have spiritually survived.

We clearly miss them

There is a time we shall meet them again,

Surround yourself with love and non-judgmental people, they too need some defence.

See living as your tool 

A tool to see the new life we shall one day see,

Pray and stay with god, remove bad habits from your soul, you’ll then find yourself being free..

Love your life 

Love your spirit within,

Ask questions to only people you know have the answers

Provoking is a guided thought, but if you think you know the answer, then life sees you as a bit of a chance.

A battle weary child who didn’t know he would come this far…

I pray for your forgiveness 

I pray for the kindness you’ve shown on this earth,

I thank you for the barrage you’ve been able to stem.

I pray for the light to shine in your direction

And that through God you may not want the compliment, but to him you are seen as perfection.

I pray for God to give you guidance

The higher power refutes any subsidence.

May the authorities on this earth help you through the light God shines,

We live life

We avoid the strain from others nonsensical words,

Be your own person, decisions are there not to be disturbed.

Be around encouraging people

People who share your sense of humour and don’t turn your words around,

I personally won’t entertain them, they have no foundation from which I found.

Encourage your friend and do the same in return 

God is looking for you to encourage, not judge others size, IQ or style of clothes

I can’t be bothered with those who bring that up

Then again we are all different, yet that’s still not my incentive to interrupt.

So encourage others 

Avoid the question if you can,

Learn to grow and let God shine your light

There is hope for everyone, so don’t give in, and continue to delight.

I recall that place

I recalled that I thought I could never escape

People wanting to be there for me, but I pushed them away

I would say: “You have your own shit to sort out, leave me to sort out mine”,

Then a prayer took place and all seemed fine. 

I continued to fight the fight 

I remove myself away from people talking politics and that kind of thing, 

I embrace more into sport, love and hope, the things to make us sing. 

Some people are born pessimistic, and that’s who they are….

You keep them at a distance, well that’s my aim… you do not offend when you are praying afar. 

There were times I thought “fuck it… this is my path so others can leave me be.”

Then there are people praying for you from a distance, that’s my kind of free. 

Love is kindness

Engagement is a sign of love, 

But if you hold back a little, then that’s guarding your heart,

Thank you God for keeping an eye on me, and sorry for the swearing,

I shall repent now, you know what I am like… my language is little bit more daring.🤣

Before the speed of this generation

In the past things were much slower

Efficiency was ther, yet  time was valued more

Now we face the essence of speed that is an overwhelming and resentment deplores. 

Those times faced challenges

Race relations wasn’t at it strongest,

Wars too took place, but music was far more uplifting and and cool

You didn’t need to refer to your phones and act with speed in order to feel like a tool. 

Not everything was a ‘quick fix’

Those were times where you thought people actually cared, 

Now people don’t have the patience to listen to anyone who speaks slowly

Perhaps, we need to stand back and look at those times more less mind-blowingly. 

The 1980s and those years before didn’t have what we do have now

We have progressed in many things, but are we keeping it real

I am honoured and privileged I was part of a time where time didn’t involve my phone or a tablet to quicken a task

The humility of reduced speed is far more protective and less harsh.

Be prepared to be disagreed with, there is always a lesson.

Why do we debate

Others refrain, and don’t care,

Talking because a question filters the mind

We ain’t on the same page, so words can become blind.

It’s like going to the hospital and may need support;

But the person with you may not be the right person to hold your hand,

You know that person, and that’s the one who refutes the questionable contraband.

So as we live our lives solely

Not everyone can be for you. 

You stem the tide of others words

Life is too short, so refute the questions that to you can be absurd.

I pray for the morning light

Despite the rain we need for the plants and trees,

I pray for harmony and kindness 

We aren’t all like this, as this world is a broken mess.

Why? 

Because we have free will and can make bad choices 

Yet through a prayer you shall hear the gentleness voices.

You have the capacity to show light

Have the spirit inside of you, that kind of fight.

Be at peace with God,

The Father isn’t your anger to aim towards 

Remain still… reflect and look towards silence and a pause.

Life is there to grab

And when that day arrives we shall meet in heaven, 

That part soothes my love for you all, just like the moment I knew the father was real at age seven.

God loves a sinner

Despite the nastiness of what others have done,

The words of Christ are very profound.

He simply forgives, that’s humbling itself 

The sinner is a victor, despite the damage they have delivered,

Victory belongs to God

Offering your life when nastiness has been done

Victory is God’s right and not the achievements we have won.

These words won’t be accepted by many

Yet humility through God is plenty.

Today I forgive and the day after the same said

It’s God’s Decision through the words which is lead.

Humans don’t have the right to judge… that’s what God receives.

I consider myself a people person….I truly aim

People like to talk and give there views

That’s okay, but some do that quite a lot

I prefer to write, that’s the place I’ve now got.

Engage with souls, they are important in this journey called ‘life’

Yet it’s that feel of a pen or pressing a keyboard where no interruptions are done, and you simply relying your view

I prefer the sound of pen to paper, that’s rustling sound, which feels so personal and astute.

Temptation was there but a prayer won

I urgently wanted a drink, 

Thirsty, gasping and wanting it now!

I can feel the taste as I feel the sweat on my brow.

Stop! I need to take stock

162 days and counting

162 days, I am ever so proud

I never thought I could reach this milestone, actually I quite dumbfound..

Yet I have believed, 

I never stopped 

I am a fighter and I can say wholeheartedly I have stopped the rot.

I am counting the days, that’s me…

I can see the tunnel much lighter

No procrastination, I am simply feeling a little brighter.

That’s the aim,

There is a goal to achieve, the aim is to sustain and never go back

So I continue counting the days, and shall never go to that place again

Is it life or death?

Need to do it quickly… and right now, 

I suppose you may forget, even from that sweat that developed onto your brow.

Personally I don’t see the point

Being relaxed is key for me, 

I train hard when I need too

I embrace and stay focused when I see something new. 

I need to be around light-minded people

People who need to give an answer, from everything you say, 

They are not for me for this season, they can kindly go away. 

Why rush? Is it life or death?

Are you on edge because that brings the best version of you, 

The angst of others, shouldn’t seep inside of you. 

It doesn’t matter where you once come from, 

A high powered role which needed your divine attention,

It’s easy to drink, smoke and put pressure on your shoulders;

A place I find tempting 

Alluring, craving and very contemplating.

It’s like seeing a person who looks and smells good

We all have temptation, but it’s coming back to reality is the place that we should.

A mixed emotion for many

Mine was great, he’s not here no more..

I hear his voice, it’s his presence I miss.

He was funny, silly, impatient and cool

He stood his ground firmly and wasn’t anyone’s fool.

I pray for the Father’s who are around

It’s dedication and honour to their children, hearts beat in gratifying sound.

You are who you are 

You are created and beautifully formed, 

Some people like to be negative, or do they call it ‘realistic’, 

I call it unoptimistic.

You are not everyone’s cup of tea

Some believe in God and some do not,

The heart inside of you feels what you want to express

Some of it resonates you, and some see your thoughts far less. 

You are God’s child and that is the truth, way and life

You are enduring on this earth, there shall be fights for those who are contentiousness and refusal to strive.

Some people you can be horrible towards, but they give you a roof over your head and food in the belly

And you take that quality for granted

But take homage there is someone looking out for you, which needs for you to be reminded. 

There is good people out there who do have your back

Remember, not everyone is NOT for you, so speak your truth quietly, pray to the higher power… and do not retract.

Praying vs worrying

Praying gives you hope

Worrying, hurts and sends you down a slope, 

Praying is for life

Worrying doesn’t help and is more of a rift. 

Praying to God is uplifting and exciting

Worrying causes pain and can lead to physical fighting, 

Praying gives you a sign there is a light at the end

Worrying causes you to be distant as you won’t say the words you want to accept or comprehend. 

Praying is your message to a higher power

Worrying, can show your concern to the person it connects

Praying can deliver positivity which is a preferred defect. 

Worrying doesn’t work for me,

Yes, it is natural but I then speak to God, that’s a better place in my head and heart to be.

Praying is the way forward it shows others there is a life beyond our present time on earth

Worrying is a negative connotation, even though it looks at plan ‘B’

Praying is the answer… and yes, it shall make you eventually feel at ease.

My Mental health

Trauma through events impacting, 
None of us can live a safe life on this earth,
looking for solutions to solve but avoid the argumentative spiteful times
they truly get on my nerves, you know? those passive aggressive types!

My mental health journey came from all sources 

I allowed the pain to hurt my head and heart, 

I asked God for forgiveness and wanted nothing in return

I began this journey through words that I needed to discern. 

Now, I am in a position I say it as it is

I am not part of this world where: "you can't say this, or say that",

As long I am coming from a geninely place I won't ever retract. 

My mental health journey came with two suicide attempts;

140 and 180 units of fast acting insulin impacting the body, 

God said it wasn't my time, as the strain of the attack was a tad shoddy.

People have given me a hard time

and I have given people a hard time back,

or perhaps it's the way I handled this mental attack,

I know I have a prayer for myself, and you too, that language shant ever slack.

Don't stay too long for resentment.

Be kind to your soul

surround your heart with kindness and avoid pessimistic views

This is a beautiful world after all, we all know it's broken, so refute being bemused. 

Be loving and honest

look to your Father in heaven, he as the final promise. 

This world full of trickery and angst

So do not play to the devil's tune, which is a clear prank. 

You are beautifully created and loved... remember that

and kindness to others is key, 

if others help, either accept with grace or move away

We are all learning, everyday 

That side of our brain never stops,

Where sometimes learning something can be enlightening

We can never remain stagnant that’s not the way we should act;

If you do, then that’s okay, no judgement, but there’s always an opportunity to react.

Voices of wisdom we will often do hear

Not this: “I know more than you.” That doesn’t wash over me my dear!

I rather keep to myself, that suits me best

But if I meet someone on my level, then that’s a worthy test.

What a geezer my dad was

He told me off when I did wrong,

He loved the quiet life as he did love singing a song.

He played a card story, which I wondered how he did?

He was extremely proud of his kids 

Yet, if you got on his nerves he knew how to rid.

His sense of humour was vicious, virtually second to none.

I have nothing but fondness as I continue to remember his ways

I call them more submissive.

Watching telly isn’t active but that does feed the mind at night

There is life to live

There is plenty to see in this beautiful world that we live, 

There is hope for us all, 

Get a pen, pencil, paper and write from the heart

Expression is wonderful and doesn’t really depart.

Board.. why on earth?

Look at the world as it today, 

move to the left or right.. life is is a constant sway.

There is plenty of energy inside of you

There are plenty of challenges for you to ensue. 

So go out there and give it your best shot

Show the world what you can do and remove those words that are negative, which can easily be forgot.

Feeling fit today

I work up ready for the gym

Yes, still felt a little groggy and a little dim. 

I want to give this a go

Start with a bit of cardio and then weights to consume the strength,

Well, all I can say is that I am surprising myself at great lengths. 

I am strong in spirit and come across as confident to the world

And speaking can cause a hit if that situation arises, 

But generally I am a soft and emotional soul whose life has endures many surprises. 

Fallen out of the love as quick as I moved back to that place, 

Yes, I do have a type of woman, yet at this stage of my life I don’t want to be in any haste. 

I love to love 

I love to help, 

Misunderstood and often tried to be forced to say what others think

I am me, as they are who they are….so let’s agree to disagree from the places that we sync.

There is hope and there is light

There are friendships that bring you laughter and joy

And if there are too serious, then get rid of them, that mindset is never easy to deploy. 

Initially you safeguard you, you come first from all of this

Staying hopeful and mindful, as kindness is aimed to you

Mother: “It says in Romans 8:18, ‘despite the suffering we are facing now, is not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed to us’

So now pray my child, you need to have the Father’s trust” 

Child: “But why is their hatred and hurt in what we currently see?”

Mother: “We are on a broken earth my child, it’s only the Father who shall set us free.”

You are not judged, that’s God’s business to honestly declare.

But there are consequences attached,

But please focus on God first, the discernment is surreal

Black and handsome guy who looks defined and doesn’t know how to be lazy.

We are here to live together and combat in God’s light.

People can be annoying

People can be lifting, 

People can be negative and it passes onto your soul

There is a danger out there, so pray afar, as there is always somewhere to go. 

People can be nosy, or they would say: “They are concerned”

I say f&?k off as sometimes I see them as a burden. 

Sometimes you need your own company

Just you and God to have that ‘chat’, 

God always has a plan, and that’s where you and I are at. 

Do I look for answers to things I raise

I need God to speak too, that’s all, from the Father I often surmise. 

People are God’s creation, so his to judge and condone

The nosy pricks I have to deal with could face my harden fist, but I know God would want them to to come to him… and grow.

And that distance from friendship isn’t taken personally, as all roads could be floored.

I will pray before I meet a friend, 

I try to discipline that attribute, the arguments will soon become none existent… and that’s to the end.

Was it worth it?

Anger and rage… yes we are human,

Some people will refuse to take on board the emotions from the other soul,

Speaking to God first, balances conversations, as the discussion shall later unfold.

You are not obliged to speak, or answer, to a provoking set of words,

Being kind and respectful, are a soft cushion to any set of words.

People will go off on one, won’t want to be interrupted

The peace of heaven’s love

I look to God and I have so many questions,

Yet we need to take account and learn from our past lessons.

We can’t be perfect 

But we do seek God’s love,

It’s encouraging and prayerful and much more than above.

You seek to seek the light

You look for wisdom from a source, 

I look to my beautiful father in heaven 

That’s the only way forward like climbing a slevin. 

God is all powerful and great

None of us can claim to be perfect, often we find ourselves late. 

Stay in the light of God 

Stay in the light of love, 

Stay in the light of seeking the Father, before it’s our turn to enter that path

Remember, love is eternal, beautiful and can never feel harsh.

Love is endearing

Love can also be fearing,

People tend to say: “I am unlovable, who would want me?”

Lord is my loving Father who created us and gave us gifts to make other feel free.

Doesn’t matter who you are, you are loved in God’s eyes

Is there now a pause from you? It shouldn’t be, nor a surprise.

People quick to criticise, leave those people alone

They need prayer, and one day they shall walk through in the Lord’s walk which he has already shown.

God has made you after all, 

so remain still and and allow him to restore you, there is restoration after the fall.

What does fellowship mean for you?

Waking up to the heavens

Hello world, I am here once again 

Thank you for another start; for this world, which you continue to defend.

I wake up to our God, my world and the one that shines the light

I have plenty to see, so I start by praying for my friends to bring them insight.

I pray for you and your family

Seeking for the light from this day,

Does it need to be sunny? as the heart opens up to you Father, for which I shall obey.

Thank you for my friends 

Thank you for the gifts I release to applaud you,

Free will is the driver, but don’t allow the Devil to open up a can of worms for which you may stew.

Leave it with God

A big ask to say…

Blinded by a bible yet there’s truth from what the word says.

No matter where you are from

We are all equally significant in God’s eyes,

Remember, you have free will, so when a mistake occurs that shouldn’t always be a surprise.

We get caught up in the ether of life

Raucous laughter, a spirited lifted high,

Stay with God, the prayers answered have never lied.

Hope is in us all

The journey have taken its toil,

Some look to the human spirit to answer their prayers,

I would prefer to stay with God for answers, through the mist and dearth you have already stared.

Cycle of change

We ask… how did I reach this place?

Attacks from all sides as you enter into the addiction which now causes you to haze.

You contemplate 

You simply question: “why?”

Asking God this question: “how did I get here?”

What will the future look like? Is there plenty to fear.

So you prepare for recovery

So you look to services in order to support you,

Looking for answers from the questions, especially from the action we are about to ensue.

We start to act, but preparation needs to take place first 

Now tasting a glass of water, instead of drinking alcohol which causes that bit more thirst. 

The action leads to achieving the ultimate goal

You look for solutions, as this road isn’t just for show.

I will occasionally miss the hit, that rush to bring your confidence up,

But I want to maintain the situation, rather go down a road which makes me say: “tut, tut”

Being left alone

I don’t want sympathy

I don’t desire pain,

Yet there are times I know refuting others causes me to go insane.

Sometimes I do need a drink

A somber moment that may entice,

I try to be there for others, as generally I know I am well meaning and can be nice.

I push back because of betrayal 

I push back because words and questions cause my mind to spiral,

Then the contradiction in that, I do need to learn

As without questions how does anyone discern?

I push back because it’s safe

I don’t need connection with anyone;

Especially those who think their wind ups are funny!

They don’t share the same sense of humour as I do where their presence can only be god lead; as I soon be running.

Silence and stillness

People have questions

That’s part of life’s learning,

Speaking to people randomly, yet it’s with God that I prefer to be discerning.

I simply need quiet

That stillness works for me,

Yes, I can talk a lot but I rather simply be.

No one can force me to answer 

The only answer is to be accountable to God,

That prayer is far more conversational, the other discussions can be quite annoying… so prevent the need to use a rod!

God is peaceful 

Silence is discernment through a prayer,

Love is edification, so humility gives purpose to share.

I am nothing without God

I am nothing without God…

The pray is there, the words shall eventually hit the soul,

No more fighting others, speak to the Father and demonstrate your show.

Love is the way forward

God provided us that feeling in order to move inside,

Inside that hope is to keep striving 

Not knocking yours or others confidence to cause constant crying.

Show the world you are a vessel to do God’s work

Mine is to write these words to encourage and looking to avoid being aggressed, 

The words of prayer is where you are honest and confess.

Today is here, some of us don’t have that chance

We all look to someone else to be philosophical and wise,

God’s blessing can be yours to surmise.

Be kind to you

Speak to yourself 

Be kind to the soul,

Pray in the morning, evening and night

The devil cannot handle these words that cause them to lose the fight.

Don’t speak for speaks sake

Speak to God first before anything can be done, 

The battle in the after life through the Father has already been won. 

Be kind to all persons 

Refuse to answer people who are looking to wind you up,

They are simply trying to amuse the devil’s spirit which has lost, so don’t hurt your own feelings at a cost.

Be kind to yourself 

Ask for help to the right people, who you know have your back

Pray to stars and to the heavens, God knows exactly where you are at.

Diabetes care

Learning to move forward 

This is all of our worlds, one day at a time, 

Some of us seek for wisdom and some of us need to be guided

The thing about insulin, is that one day God will be providing.

Be kind to your spirit

The soul has much to give, 

If you stay angry, where will that take you

A journey of hope? I presume that attribute simply subdues?

Time to move forward

A cure is so, so near

Yes, I am optimistic with a view

That’s because I pray, as insulin at this moment in time isn’t produced inside of you.

Some try to give you the answer

But they don’t know what is the answer or how you can live, 

Learn the principles of managing your care and if you have a friend to support teach them patiently from the experience you have lived and declared. 

“Don’t advise unless you know what a hypo or hyper feels like, show empathy and compassion, I may then listen to you.”

Praying for a blessed week

For I blessed you so you can be a blessing to others

That’s what the Father said, My sisters and brothers.

Today the walk is long and sometimes wide

Sitting down, relaxing and see what prayer can provide. 

Say it from a peaceful heart

Say the words from a light which you can see,

It’s an epiphany when miracles are able to make you retreat.

People we rely on are no longer around,

Don’t worry, they haven’t gone far there is a spiritual place which is peaceful, unhurtful and peacefully sound.

The belief in the higher spirit

There’s nowhere to hide 

Who do you confide to when things are lost?

You have taken a risk at a cost.

Don’t beat yourself up

The higher power is there, 

believe it or not he is closer than you think when issues blare.

You pray and try

The calmness of your spirit shall never die,

It’s there for a reason… that word ‘calm’

You may go into supernova when things collapse,

But then again, God is calling you.. and that’s not a ‘perhaps’.

Be kind to you 

Be kind to others around,

Angst or otherwise 

God performs miracles… and to the Father that’s no surprise.
