A teardrop

A tear drop hits a puddle where sparkkes light

Looking down on earth, I say: “it’s all going to be okay”

Blessings shall touch your heart 

Love shall continue, none of us need to Part.

Glory to god 

Love powers your soul

As you merely ask for a hug

Glory to our king 

From which started with a spiritual tug.

I have never left you 

Nor would I want to take my hand away 

Hugs and spiritual growth 

Now the lords shall comfort you 

Simply believe in him as hands from the father shall ensue.

Messages and words that come from a spiritual place 

A blanket, a comforter and moment to cry or smile 

Looking over you my children, that shall last for a long, long while....

Surrounded

Surrounded by judgement 

That may impact on a persons heart,

Reflecting on negativity 

Now where do I begin? I assume from the start.

People can be subjective 

Don’t times need to change?

Behaviour does breed behaviour 

Yet humbleness is nobodys slave.

Politics a foot

Mental health on the rise 

Does it belong to a faith

Therefore  anger may lead to haste..

Banter and humour 

Try not to take life so serious 

Entering into a world where there are good people 

Yet we have become slightly delirious!!! x   

Why rush?

We all know things need there place in time 

Gadgets, toys.. whatever names you want to say 

Aren’t we suppose to balance our way to give

Rather than encourage a heart attack that prevents us to live!!.

Speaking in chaos 

Making that source your friend

Overtalking your friends 

Leading for communication to breakdown 

I either ignore or tell others to leave me be

That’s a better mindset for feel more free. 

Scared to forget what to do?

Panic sets in so you can impress

We all make mistakes 

God is the only one that will test.

Anger, haste and impatience 

All traits no one wants to accept 

“It’s not nice to be nice always” I tend to hear people say 

Be at peace with your heart and your soul

Therefore calmness is instilled and balance shall sow. 

A problem like type 1 (Diabetes)

A checklist like no other

Avoiding stress in a testing world

Sugars low and not sure what to do

Scoffing sugar like no end 

Then your sugars rise another journey transcends.

Damaging organs due to a balancing act

No pancreas working during this time 

And damaging effects MAY hurt in the long run

Yet you aim to attain some kind of balance  

And with that you have some fun.

This isn’t a condition for stress heads

I feel for their hearts when temperament needs to be maintained, 

No drama for this person with type 1

Yet learning each day is key in my growth 

Learn to move forward and leave the pity behind.

The condition is manageable, just avoid people that are just a little bit blind.

The condition is interesting and never ending 

Your life is managed by eating food, exercise and carb counting facts 

Along with insulin to break down the enzymes

So embrace a condition with all that is tied 

Type 1 diabetes is the condition I need to embrace, and confide. 

 

If we pray...

What’s a prayer to you?

Me? A humble time with my father in heaven 

Not hating anything, despite the triers

I feel more at peace and got rid of the old me, that was a liar.

When I close my hands together 

That’s a start of something  beautiful and surreal

Looking towards your spiritual goal

And allowing the prayer to simply flow. 

I love the passage that a prayer leads,

Closeness with the spirit is where it stays

Looking to the heavens for where I am saved.

Free will and open honest prayer

This activity is real, the spirit has dominion and sees your journey 

For our father in heaven, that is where you are so worthy.      

This person...

This person I write this poem for, may, or may not get it

They are smart, bright, funny and most importantly my friend 

We don’t say “I love you”, that kind of stuff 

For which is not dependant or rough.

As long as we see each other 

Then I am cool with that,

We don’t need to say many words 

We have interests about nerdy stuff and the arts.

Their articulation is second to none 

They are my friend, and then some.

We do not say “I love you” at a constant rate 

Actually hardly said, that kind of fate.

They get on with life and hardly judge 

A good person, there’s no need to budge. 

This is the first poem I have wrote about them 

It’s not all about huggy, huggy stuff

Don’t get me wrong I do like that sort of thing 

However, our friendship is cemented 

A mutual friend I understand and get

Friendship forever for which is set...

Gossiping gossip

A tetchy subject you may find,

Depends how it’s used when the tongue releases the words 

Toxic or mindful concern 

Gossip can lead to twists and turns.

Brace the exchange of words 

Yet I am not into “she said this and he said that” if you get my drift?

Sometimes gossip coming from the incorrect place 

Can be brought to a battle and often into an unnerving race.

Words talking about another person,

Gossip can be chained and cause harm,

Treat how you would like to be treated yourself

Otherwise if I hear you talking about me you be put on the shelf.

If you enjoy your life 

Either, privately or like an open book

Remember gossip can inflict a damage in trust  

For me that can cause a little betrayal, and that isn’t a MUST. 

God does not sleep

God never sleeps

The spirit moves and loves the soul

Growing with passion of the lord 

Is a balance like holding a heavy sword.

God never leaves you 

You may sometimes feel that he does

If you pray with all your heart, mouth and soul

I grant you the balance from the higher power which is never slow.

And if you ask, Intelligence does not come into it 

The prayers play there part to attain the truth

Closer to the lord is a place I attempt to be

Why do you struggle? When prayers can always see. 

When protection is your spirit 

And love for your father is your humble mercy and grace

A hug can release a set of wise words, along with a prayer 

Therefore, the beauty of glory has a page to turn,  as we continue the story.

All you do is pray

We pray for our sins

We pray to our father

We pray for a better future

We pray for the love that humbly suits you.

A prayer is powerful 

A prayer is life

A prayer is humble peace

A prayer is solum and fights away the beast.

A prayer is a hug

A prayer for others is for you too,

A prayer is to move forward

A prayer is to follow god which is towards.

A prayer is sweet

A prayer is good for the spirit and soul

A prayer is to forgive an argument for which you instigate

A prayer is to forgive yourself, as god loves you, whatever state.

My time in faith

How would you cope without a prayer?

When you feel down and do not know where to turn

We are all looking to finding faith 

No more fighting with your anger and battling a wrath.

Humble when no one is there to hug

Looking towards a higher power

Once receive there is no need to cower.

I feel protected when I pray to the lord 

Trials and tribulations shall always arrive 

Yet love from the lord means more than just to survive.

Humble love and spiritual grace

Look to the left and then the right 

And if you do not see the light to bring you peace

Pray and pray again that is what you deserve, at the very least x x

“Touch your soul and love to the higher power” 🙏🏽 x

A time to heal

Nothing stays the same 

At that precise moment you may feel adulation or your world is falling apart

The beginning of the end is where it starts.

Some get good people around them

And that balance can sometimes be hard to find 

As long you believe in a higher power you never fall behind.

Capturing balance or just close your eyes and pray to god

Some believe, some won’t, 

It’s all about free will to grasp

I rather pray in the morning to make this feeling last.

When you hold my hand, or give me that hug, 

I know all will be okay,

Once the spirit hits you, then glory to the king shall always stay.

When they try

When people that suppose to guard you put your personality down 

Look to the skies as their perceptions is simply theirs to own

Refuse to feel down moreso 

You aim is to believe in you

Good strong work will give you a clue.

We will always try

You are smart, funny and beautiful in gods eyes

Embrace a new chapter that has an element to surmise.

People judge, that’s what most people do

I prefer not too but that’s my faith talking to me 

Look ‘your’ future it’s not theirs to be.

If you are a good person and encourage your child’s next step 

Pessimism is not always seeing thing with a realistic slant 

Celebrate yourself, you still need to move forward, for you

Strong prayer and a little grit 

You shall delve into a spiritual future, that is where you should sit x x🙏🏽

Sign of the times

This message I am about to say 

Has been said so prevalently before 

The words of chaos is heady and can make you feel sore

What is politeness?

In a world that lost it way,

“We are human”

Yes, I agree but it’s truth what I am about to say.

People in good salaries 

Good for them, humbleness in spirit makes me rich

Personally I am humbled to earn enough 

Emptiness when pleading poverty” can be ditched. 

We are all on a journey

That’s life in a nutshell which we all know.

As long you have warmth, clothing, food and say your prayers 

The humility of sheer goodness is the beauty I prefer to share. 

Starting anew

We dream a new start

We start with old venture anew, 

This may work this time 

That’s for you to pursue..

We try to look forward 

We try to make this new start work,

If it doesn’t, then you have tried, don’t be too hard on thee

The fact that you have focused on a new dimension can make this be.

Working out new journeys 

Given opportunities to evolve 

Embrace a new situation where you’ve already been before 

The fact you are trying means that little bit more.

Some don’t have the back up

Some have parents where opportunities haven’t been presented to them, 

So the offspring may receive the same result

At least you are trying, from that you may exalt. 

Faith in you

Love thy neighbour 

And turn the other cheek

Clearly not words of mine

Yet profanic statement we look to find.

Turn left and right at a crossing 

Be careful when choosing your battles,

Others have a more political agenda to fight

Listen, calculate and attain, as conversations don’t always need to fright.

The art is to remain still 

Be at peace with the lords love,

This journey is never ending 

We are all at a level, and of transcending.

Hold still and leave the past behind 

if others cannot leave the past to rest 

Remember the travel from this journey is to continue to remain blessed. 

Yiayia (Nan in Greek)

My Yiayia, a delightful warm kind soul

It’s been a long time since she’s been gone, 

Sometimes when I am surrounded by chaos, 

I know she would remain calm and avoid making you feel loss.

If she was in charge of this world there would be no wars, no unnecessary arguments, who was a fun, kind and a warm  soul

There would be no gossip or vexatious words coming from her mouth

She would deflect nasty remarks and make you a cup of tea

Times so rare, she would make you feel free.

In a world where patience is lacking 

My Yiayia was balanced and avoided any conflict to destroy,

No dramas like most people release today 

She would make you feel attained, and make you want to stay.

In a world that’s impatient 

In a world where calm is so rare

Yiayia, my friend, my grandma, my confidante and my pride

She was the pure essence to capture my soul 

as well as many turbulent blows,

To encourage and love

These words have been said before 

Poignant to the soul and lost in transgression

We are all on a journey in this life’s hard lesson.

I give to encouragement 

I give to you love 

“Soft”, “Tepid” others may say

It doesn’t need to be said often 

Yet those feelings encourages life all day.

To motivate people and say “well done” no matter how small the feat,

A little self esteem goes a long way 

A spiritual life is humble and often has lots to say.

I never feel I get encouragement but don’t feel sad for me,

People in my outer circle say “well done” and “good for you”

I suppose the reflection of those who do not WANT to change and rather install “hard” tactics to show a tough love,

Sometimes there are reflections which need to be said in kind

Hence these words you may relate to, and humble to find.

Challenging judgement

Being judged 

Or learning you have been spoken about

I suppose we have all done this at some point in our life,

Not nice at the receiving end 

Words can hurt and something you avoid to depend. 

Anxiousness, aggression 

Behaviours caused by being judged

Think of the repercussions and harm 

This is someone else’s life which needs balance and calm.

I suppose some see it being cruel to be kind 

My slant is, leave that person alone 

Be a person that cares rather than an enemy who may cause that person to go off and dare..

We know the world can be hostile

We know the world can release love 

Judgement with god 

I know none of us are perfect 

At least others are humble and indeed worth it.

Is it wrong to be on your own?

Scared for taking the next step 

Why can’t others be happy for your choice 

Love is the partner you need to voice.

When you find balance and harmony with you

You are then entering into solace, a voice tone 

As long you are happy with your peace with god,

People may understand this life from which others lead 

No one is getting hurt, be happy for them.. indeed? 

None of us are perfect 

Those who disagree, are at error with the truth,

If you find love, then that is great I am ever so pleased 

Growing in harmony with someone, or you can be a blossoming seed. 

I am a loner, don’t be sad for me 

I’ll love you and listen to the stories or facts you may have to tell,

People judging this act from others can become tongue and cheek

But if you harmonise yourself, nothing is ever bleak x

Keep up the momentum

I try my best and the rewards shall arrive one day

People shall exhert judgement, hone low mood to hurt your feelings

It’s your job to embrace the challenge and enter into any seething.

Prayer, love for others deliver an almighty spiritual attainment 

Love is the glory for any regainment.

Humbleness and battled ego surmises and captured the truth within

Captures love from the goodness it brings.

I close my eyes and know one day we shall embrace the beauty of gods love.

No more contentious arguments or blindness of hurtful words

Bring out your better spiritual human inside and out 

Love only love is the key where momentum derives 

As  prayer is the balance as god love is the elevation to no longer surprise. 

Learning to manage

Outcomes consistently focused 

T1D is simple but difficult to maintain 

The art don’t be too hard on yourself 

Just let the balance retain.

People who don’t know what a hypo feels like 

Tell them to do a 12 hour night shift and that person will get  that feeling in the last hour when your bloods are challenged and low 

Exactly the same feeling with a dietary blow.

Life is a daily challenge but as this is one extra thing to consider

Checking, bloods, activity and calculating carbs

I wouldn’t mind, we are not even onweight-watchers! 

This is just to sustain life,

The art is to remain focused, do not over think and simply inject the appropriate amount 

That’s what makes us clinically excellent to see

A skill that is attained and also free.

You become the patient, doctor, carer and skilled with this art

When you capture the essence of this condition

No need to focus on negatives 

Just maintain the T1D definition. 

Resolution

We go in with good intentions,

Well this is my take on the new you,

Why not try? if you don’t maintain the New Years resolution 

Doesn’t mean you have given in,

Learn to move forward from the time that you bring. 

Be humble with your heart 

Be focused and keep on trying,

If you fall down and cry 

Just let those feelings out 

Nothing wrong with that!

You are going to pick yourself up and try a new slant 

Ups comes with downs from any victorious chant.

You are trying, isn’t that a good thing?

Slap the negative remarks away

Try and try harder 

Because this is your time to evolve and eventually become larger. 

Try with you, you are better than you know

If people knock you down, look, stare and don’t say a word.

Harder than you know, we all know this 

One thing for certain, whatever you have done, good or bad

Always move forward, for that which up I should be glad.

 

Mixed bag

Some get supportive families

Some get families that offer little 

We all have chances to solve 

There is some responsibility to shoulder 

Learn to move forward and learn to become bolder.

“I am trying lord! Why don’t you help!”

The trials and tribulations come at a price

Our lord, our saviour captured victory 

Despite the wounds and hurt inside 

With gods guidance, you shall combat the tide. 

Being a guardian is never easy to do

Some can only cope so much better,

Some are patient and guard their child

The hardship of neglect is never feels mild.

Pray from the heart 

Try to turn the switch button on,

Empower your beliefs and do what is good 

Humility and humbleness are attributes, therefore key

Stay in hope and pray 

God will shine and never go away. 

The page turns again

The page unfolds 

Another year arrives

Good for many and bad for others,

Peace is where the past shall no longer bother.

Some embrace the drama 

Some delve into the calmer

Peace on earth is where it’s at

Staying focused on the conversation 

From the balancing act.

No one knows where the pages turns

The essence from your journey is that you embrace and learn 

Capturing moments is wholesome and stern.

Never say never 

Don’t let your guard slip 

Pray everyday with all your heart

As long we encourage the positive patterns of life

We shall endure, forgoing any strife.
