A Dog’s affection

You will see me there in the morning, working out my next move,

You look at me attentively as I look at the summer to soothe.

You look to my face 

As I know you do care, 

I was once a puppy, as I am now fully grown 

God has given me you, now the love has truly shown.

Thank you for being you

You are a blessing, see it like that,

I am with a humble soul… you, and that is a beautiful fact.

Stay humble with me, I know you shall

There is humility in your heart

I know through God you are exceptionally real.
