Why I believe in love - Poetry

That moment of kindness
That moment of passion
That moment of kissing
That moment of loving
That moment of missing.

Are you right for me?
Am I right for you?
My heart is open and wounded
Yet I believe in love
Hovering like a gentle dove.

My eyes are open wide
And I know I have my faults.
Yet the love for that special person
Can expose the hurt,
Just like being burnt.

I fell in love
And that is not wrong.
If it works for better or for worse,
At least I gave it my best shot
And refuse to let go
Just like a vessel that is clott.

Love is painful
And love can be grateful.
I also believe in poetry within
Which released a gene to love and once and for all.
Which shall one day prevent me to fall.

Perspective - Poem

Food in your belly and roof over your head.
We know nothing is cheap
And that times are pretty hard.
So don’t live beyond  your means
Or you shall become increasingly barred.

So the money in your pocket
Sometime you don’t need to spend.
Yes you need to enjoy and live this special and beautiful life given to you.
Yet the balance comes from inside.. and with it a clue.

Those who are needy, just welcome a hug.
Which is something worth more than money itself,
Humbleness comes from within.
Yes, sparking diamonds can lift morale with glee
As this is about love and kind for one and all
for others to see.

So remember perspective is the key
Never lose focus what others can see.
If you want a brand new car or glittery plush house,
Remember the graft and pennies you have obtained.
From the humility one captures, and then gains….

NHS Journey

NHS Journey
A mile stone as well as a journey
Which you have ventured as well as graced.
Your efforts in the NHS
Have captured and embraced.

The never ending journey
To ensure patients’ capture their wellbeing.
The continuing time you have invested your time
And thank you for celebrating, hence the reason for this rhyme.

So one day to mark an occasion
Where words float and come within.
And the skills gained to ensure NHS patient safety stays ‘in’.

With this date so pivotal in your mind,
Thank you for celebrating with us, by gifting us all with fruit and cake.
The essence of time and energies are put to ensure better healthcare,
Something humble, just like this date you wish to share.

Perspective (Poem)

I love my life
I shouldn't really, from the world we live within,
Selfish souls, looking out for number one
mind you what can one do
when you fight for a job.
Pro-active reasons to use your gob.

My friends and family are whole and nice
I don't mix with vexatious beings who say the word 'I am evil'
And when I hear those words
my muscles and veins seem to flex.
I am not a coward who sends a cowardly text.....

Sign of the times come from these expressions.....
words exchanges have stood from the test of time.
I am trying to work this out by writing these words
this release is not so obserd.

I will hold your hand and pick you up
if you were falling of a cliff.
So why.. 'me, me, me' when others might need a human lift?
I hope love will conquer all.
Acknowledging without the ying there cannot be a yang
Yet these are my words which shall be sang.. (one day)...

Beautiful Mind

Emotional and sensitive.
This is not fair on you.
I love you wholly
And shed a tear
Do I have nothing to fear?

What is fear?
An emotion for others to take charge of you,
No need to be scared
Just stand up and prevent what is teared.

So as I smile
And hold back many beautiful thoughts
We need to learn the good
From moments which are taught.

I reach for your hand as my words tread gently into your soul.
Despite the angst which pours through my veins.
The opinion sounds viral
In my quest to remain insane.

Today's World (Poem)

Children, Men, Women, Parents and single souls.
Inpatient wants and rash remarks.
‘I want, I want, I want’ continuous barks.

Social networking deliver exposed words.
No dignity and grace unlike our elders who started with pen and paper
Which has a wholesome trace.

People wearing garish clothes
And louder and louder make up stance.
Why aren’t we learning to be calm in this fiasco place?
Yet the chaos needs to be stems delivered from the haste.

You turn to the left
And then to the right.
Do you know where to turn?
Or is there a place for us to learn.

At the end of the day
I simply don’t understand
Why the system is the way it is.
Is chaos the new FAD. Or shall I look to you,
Like I would to my Dad…

The world and its people will change and evolve.
Sometimes for better and sometimes attached to woes.
I love you my friend
As we aim to do what is right
Even if the world tends to lose sight.

This isn’t a normal week Chaos surrounds us, there’s no peace to find or seek. People wanting to make a fuss And others needing to move on, ...
