Hope and love 

They do work together;

They comprise with kindness and a focus

Avoid the cynics who swarm like dishevelling locusts.

Stay humble and light 

Focus on God every step of the way,

Trials and tribulations shall get involved 

But it’s the almighty power who shall get the situation solved. 

Keep working hard 

Turn your dreams into facts,

Avoid the politics of this world, they shall soon bring you down and aim to detach.

You will love and fall out with people on the way

None of us are perfect on this turgid earth,

The time you shall be truly free is when you enter the new kingdom, the beauty from a new berth.

People think they know you

Some people love and want to give

Some people stand still, access and attempt to live.

People may question you

But believe it or not, it’s only God who has the right to judge

When you answer back, it’s his name I rather not begrudge.

People have their opinions of you

But it’s God’s name you rather hear,

He is your orchestrator, redeemer and ultimately one to endear.

We try to support others on a journey

Sometimes you help and there are times you do not,

You recall you wished you took that bullet instead of that other person taking the shot.

So people know you,

I think they like to think they do?

Personally it’s between you and God, because he made you after all, that’s a fact…and not a clue.

You say a few things

Where words cause a rile stain

Some you are able to refrain.

Some you comeback because you are sharp

Other words are simply winding you up because they possess no substance from the start.

So you learn to love who you think are unlovable

You move hearts and soon they become unforgettable,

Life is easy for those who want to be with and therefore relax 

Remove yourself from vexatious situations which often tax.

The day we rejoice and all meet in heaven

Is the day we shall forget what was said when times got heated,

Remember the devil has lost this fight as God already has him defeated.

The heart beats 

The cries can start to release,

Don’t feel sad my brothers and sisters, we shall see our loved ones again

The heart for us all shall eventually stop but the Kingdom of heaven is where we shall transcend.

No matter how the relationship with others manifests

Some grow, some also grow apart 

The hope we all need is to believe and that is from the start.

Believe, be nice to those on the way

The world is quite circumspect when it comes to believing in the higher power

Believe me, God is real, no greater name that I would personally take on to empower.

Take your time 

But do remember to say your prayers,

The concept is simple but love reigns forever 

There is a kingdom awaiting us all… as we should never ever say ‘never’.

Did you know praying to the highest of high

Means you are open to want to be living, then the anger shall demise.

Look at the world as it stand?

People struggling to live on a earth where communication is limited 

Yet when you speak to God there is hope which isn’t constricted.

Good to a degree, but lose it when tipped over the edge

I prefer to pray to God for us all, that is a humble pledge.

Learn to be loving

Today was a good day

It rained, it was cold but God was reminding me that he was there

There is a light through the darkness which we all can share.

It’s not about ‘I’ 

It’s about us all,

We encourage one another to prevent others to fall.

And love is a power which does many wonderful things,

Sing to the highest power from where the glory shall bring.

Compliment yourself once in a while

Arguments, debates are aggressive tools, a waste of energy which can rile.

Remember the light is there

There are people cheering you on, who love and refute the attacks which stare.

Life is glorious

People who talk debate can lead to a discussion which is notorious,

Stay with love for one day

And remember this…..the kingdom of heaven shall arrive your way.

No one perfect

There’s no one perfect

Yet in fellowship we do rejoice,

We sing and worship God through a spiritual and uplifting voice.

I withdraw from non-believers

Doesn’t mean I do not care or want to show them love?

I just need to get closer to God, that’s where the questions of faith I never look to budge.

I don’t proclaim perfection

I don’t proclaim to get things always right,

One thing I refute is someone trying to help me when all I want to do is see the light.

Connection is profound

It’s a place I rather touch when others gossip needs to leave,

Thank you Father for saving a wretch who felt he didn’t have hope… yes, that person is me.

You are the reason you offer others a chance to lift,

Authority belongs to the Father, he shall refute any rift.

You only need affirmation from the mightiest of kings

God sees it all

Unpacking

People have more baggage than others!

People who don’t understand your path can’t say no more,

Their journey is clearly different from your journey, as what you have faced is a little bit sore.

People can try to understand 

People can ask the questions to bring their concern, 

In fact they know nothing about the trauma you faced

Even the bitter pill that you have swallowed  and didn’t like the taste.

The hurt faced not cveryone could comprehend;

Their worlds are clearly different from yours, 

yet they want to have the answers, in which in reality their answers are clearly torn.

Simply pray to God

He knows what you have genuinely faced, 

The fact that you prayed to a higher power does mean you shall reach a humble place.

We pray each day

As we battle past the dysfunctional gossips that gets n the way.

Prayers have always been positive 

They offer an almighty lift,

Actually they do more than that, God’s blesses are also a gift.

The words are edifying

They move the spirit in a direction which you rather look towards to stay

Give God all the glory, this is a prophetic gift that shan’t ever go away.

I’ll accept a thank you for the kind and humble words I write and said 

I am not into small talk or gossip, that fickleness could lay in someone else’s bed.

Give the Father praise

Pray with your heart and speak with ultimate love offered from the king

The words of worship is a tremendous uplift, as when we worship there is an enchanting array of words we ought to sing.

Who is perfect?

Yes, there’s is the divine one, the one who doesn’t forsake us 

He always has us to go to him, as through the father there is a trust.

We are quick to judge

Say that word ‘perhaps’ or ‘why does that happen?’

My heaven on earth is blessed to speak to the Father, a prayer can never dampen.

Look to the skies

Look to what God always wants,

Growing in Faith is a positive, and refutes any taunts.

We are all different

God loves us regardless how we turn out,

I know praying is the almighty guide,

Through the Father we all need to humble our hearts and confide.

It’s the third three of the new year

We can look at it with uncertainty, and perhaps a little bit of fear.

We look to love 

We love to hope and a way through,

We also look towards humility to throw in kindness

And refute the devils aim for us to enter into blindness.

The world is challenged enough

People with pain, anguish and simply fighting to see the next day,

The heavens one day shall open up for us all… here’s my hand… and their I shall stay.

His light gives us an array of light, 

Please hold him close, as inside of you there is plenty of fight.

I remember those days

I remember the days we only had three channels on the television

We played arcade games without the aid of a phone

We wrote to pen pals with a scrap of paper and pen, and we were comfortable for being on our own.

We lived a happier life

Yet troubles were always lurking around,

Racial tension were a little high,

As clearly a bag egg just needed to go and off accept their faults…. And cry.

We loved to talk

And never over spoke each other and listened when others spoke ,

Research came from enciclopedias as methodical work was presented that way and never a joke.

We now live in digital times 

People are removed to being what they should allow themselves to be,

Efficiency is good through some form of electronics, I just remember those times when I was that little more free.

Found God in time

I didn’t believe in God

Why? I simply didn’t want to receive,

I just wanted him to blame 

The human spirit is a hard one to figure out… and sustain.

I needed something

And it was as simple as a prayer,

My mate Peter prayed for me one day, and ‘’hey presto’

It wasn’t magic it was the Holy Spirit saying: ‘I am right here’.

Yes, there’s ups and downs 

Trials I couldn’t workout on my own,

Then I discerned to the Father.. and guess what? I was now never alone..

Time passes

God will take us away too one day,

We now know they are perennially free.

We often think of them and immediately then swoon,

God has taken to them to a place where they are no longer in pain

We are the ones left behind with the pain, which is now hard to sustain.

Pulling through

No turning back

The journey has now begun,

Tired through the medication as I refute to go 

I feel defeated now, the detox is now starting to move away slow.

I questioned why how I got there

I didn’t think I would pull through 

Drinking because it loosened the mind

When all I needed to do is pray first, the father would have shown what is humbly kind.

My eyes are tired

My diligence is there to remain strong,

If others remind me of my selfishness, I’ll ignore them as I know what I did wasn’t genuinely aimed to do anything wrong.

I prayed and moved forward

I exercised and trained to exceed the limitations I was looking to achieve

Pray first, that’s all I ask…ultimately God is the one inside of you that believes..

There is always a path and prayer

The guidance only he can release

The passage is waiting for you to walk on

The eyes wide open and prayers called upon, 

We say the words “God where are you?” When the human spirit can’t see

Our faith in the father is the final port where you shall be set free. 

Remember these words “I love you”

God is ultimately right, 

The angst and devils makes mistakes 

Which is fickle and full of what is known as fake.

Today we look at life

Tomorrow we shall overcome strife,

How? Is it through anger and uncontrolled struggle

One thing for certain, he is the only one who can pull you out of any middle.

When you speak to God

You are not alone,

One day through belief and surrender the past and present shall no longer be a groan.

We speak to him when times are hard

We speak to him when the tiredness hits our hearts,

You see? We are here for a certain period of time 

No person knows more than anyone, it’s only through God where you can define.

We speak to the Father when we are sad

Why not when we are happy when he has pulled us through,

The hope has always been with him, I pray that moment to come to you.

Remember, kindness is for those who show love

Despite the weather, the passage of hope needs not to be shoved.

Keep speaking to the Lord, where hearts need to be found.

Questions are healthy 

Questions can provoke 

Questions can also too be overwhelming when the questionnaire doesn’t know where the answer leads 

I rather have an answer to a questions, full stop that’s where the answer feeds.

Questions can be lifting

Questions may bring you towards a awkward path,

God is the one is the answers, why? He know if you don’t follow him your spirit may feel a little harsh.

Questions are scientific 

Questions are political too,

I rather pray for an outcome

Experts aren’t always angels who aim to pursue. 

Questions are the cause where things go wrong

Unless you don’t want to know the answer, there is a sentence which can go wrong. 

So answers are the light

That’s the side I rather stay, 

If you ask too many questions, you are a child who should instead pray.

If I want to talk, I shall

I don’t need to talk for any sake

Dialogue can often cause a mix up, leading to a break.

Actually I like silence

And balanced with reflecting thoughts,

People probing with questions, often those words can easily get you out caught.

Basically talk when you need to

Don’t talk because it’s time to replace,

Silence can be uncomfortable in moments we want to embrace.

Start politely 

End on the same note,

You shall feel better for it in the long run 

There’s a prayer somewhere as you’re no longer feel numb.

God created us all uniquely 

The ‘free will’ that was offered to us all, can be treated meekly.

Someone says something positive 

The other person looks to the other side of the argument to make it spicy

Sometimes those conversations become a bit fiery.

Then again it’s all about love and guarding your heart

Love everyone regardless, media can be put in the bin

That’s the cause of arguments when huge difference of opinions can cause a sin.

Remember we are here to help each other

Not look at each other’s skin and make a judgement for what you think they might be?

I am a child of God first, 

as I am here to embrace God… and therefore not burst.

Encourage an outcome

Encouragement is key

It’s a belief system to set yourself apart,

The nay sayers who just look at magazines and ask questions, perhaps remove them from your heart?

Encourage each other

That’s the only way forward,

Looking up, down and left and right 

The encouragement from anyone shall overcome any difficult fight.

Questions could also be the key,

Sometimes the answer to the question could sometimes set you free?

Questions can be overwhelming 

Yet sometimes they serve a place,

There is humility when asking for a outcome

But the answer cannot always be responded, so don’t feel anyway dumb.

Remember questions are evolving constantly 

People ask questions to the people who don’t know,

Questions can also lead to gossip, where the meaning of the answer has nothing to show.

Questions are a timing request 

People who you want to respond rather not, despite their zest.

Questions can sometimes a way out to a solution

Just expect sometimes an answer to a question can bring on some confusion.

Remember first you are a child of God who sends angels to protect

God is holding you closely, despite the words pushed towards your corner

You have people who love you, words of comfort which are delightfully warmer.

Time with me, myself and I

No one likes to be alone

But then again we are all different,

There’s a motive from these words 

Which are telling and philosophical, so you won’t get disturbed.

I like peace with me

I am relaxed in my own skin, and through God I can simply pray to him

There’s a light through the darkness so I know I am not alone despite if there’s no kin.

I like being with me 

I don’t have questions asked,

And if they arise they are on my terms

Where probing questions can become unwanted 

And where reflection shan’t be distorted.

I need me time so I can laugh, cry, or even remain still

I am blessed to have the Father to believe in, that’s where I capture my fill.

Learn to be patient with silence

Moving can drive you to a grinding halt,

The peace of one’s company has nothing to do with being anyone’s ‘fault.’

Praying and staying with you

please Lord, give this person hope

Make them see what are capable to do,

Discipline is humility, and nothing else needs to stew.

Praying for recovery

Stay strong, and if you don’t feel like that? then pray

The likelihood spiritual grow shall allow you to overcome and stay.

It wasn’t going to be easy 

You knew that, when addiction starts,

But you need to find a will to remain disciplined for holding on 

This life you have doesn’t  need to go wrong!

Praying for you and that includes staying

I hope all the light shall show you a way through,

God bless you…. Through the light you shall eventually ensue.

You are who you are!

People are who they are

Some you accept

Some you tolerate

Others you may need to be flexible with and eventually corroborate.

We are all a mixed bag on this planet through race, colour and creed

And wasn’t it what Othello said:”if I don’t cut, won’t I bleed?”

It’s okay being you

Some people will like you

Some are rigid and won’t have a clue.

Be kind to yourself first

Sometimes it’s the hardest thing to do for yourself, especially when volatile temperaments burst,

So as people argue and have an agenda to prove

I rather pray first for that person, as God’s message is for us to pray and continue to move.

The goal waiting to achieve

Littler’s victorious, the eyes and hands now believe.

The war of attrition laid to rest

Blessings and reality now in full zest.

Victory achieved for the highest accolade to win

Going down a route where this prodigal son came to capture

Double 16 hit, now hear the roars and rapture.

Beating one of the greatest around,

How many more world titles shall the Nuke don

The important message now is that he has just won.

Glasgow

The cold breeze of Glasgow 

A Friendly place that has a no nonsense vibe,

Hospitable and giving,

A relax atmosphere to embrace a different kind of living.

There is the rivalry of The Gers verses the Buoys

A passionate match many are able to tell,

The passion and glory is brought to this prestigious match 

Plus there’s the Necropolis, a sanctum where courageous people have gone before us, which we can be open to become attached,

There is the Botamic gardens, a view so delightful to sample

As the heavens brings joy to this place which is everso calm and full.

The drinking is joyous

The party of Hogmanay have there stories, and last a few days,

The extremities of these wonderful people lives long and prosperously, in the dew of the hazes.

The stamp of this memory will forever last 

And the history of Kelvinhall a beautiful monument, 

The park is planted next to the University of Glasgow to bring out amazing talents;

Like I said before, the memories I take away from Glasgow have captured my heart

The rich culture and history is beautiful and invigorating, which needs to be sampled, as now these words of this beautiful city needs to depart.

Tomorrow’s gain

We look towards tomorrow for that bit of hope

Taking risks which you are not sure of, especially when going down that slippery slope.

Tomorrow will be you breath

And if it doesn’t, you are in the Father’s wreath.

Love each other as the spirit rises

There may be shuns to the spirit and plenty of surprises.

Be kind to those who are kind to helping you

And if you can do things yourself, say politely: “allow me to breathe” as no angst is due.

Love is the way forward 

The aggression is a place you don’t crave to look,

There is plenty of chances to grow, perhaps one day start to write a book?

Thank you for today

Words released through a prayerful stay. 

Time to lift the mood

Where a brand new beginning awaits,

God always decides what’s early, and what is late.

Love through the hope inside

Love with the light shining in your eyes,

Prayers are there forever, they are free and not always goodbyes.

May the light shine on thee

The hope within us, despite the weather you shall be set free.

Remain hopeful

I love you so,

May the kindness in life be brought inside of you 

Hope a guidance, you shall ensue.

Good intentions

There is a reason why people write

For example, when pen to paper creativity gives you a chance to recite.

Therefore, you look to God for an answer and prayer

And then look focus on the hopelessness especially when nothing else is there.

You give it your best shot 

give it all you can,

Righteousness can lead to rigidity causing a ban.

You are a child of God 

Created with love in the heart,

Not from the moment of passion in an nightclub when a man and woman tension starts,

Be at peace with you

You don’t need to verbalise, keep it calmly inside your soul

Expression can deliver good or perhaps bad

One thing for certain you do need to pray first.. then make a stand.

Stop feeling inferior

Remember you are loved by the highest of high

So what if you are short, thin or fat

Say your prayers and that’s not out of a drop of a hat.

If you ask: “why”, then hand it to God

There is solace in the answer, that’s where you get an approving nod.

So what if you are getting older.. that’s part of the plan

Inferiority in your age, doesn’t define who you are!

We have all messed up, so look to the window there’s your name on a star.

Remember you are created by the greatest spirit alive 

And through the earth, wind and the rain… you are humbled to sustain.

“Pray… that’s where we ought to stay”

Overcoming an addiction

Start the year cutting down excessive drink or drugs

I pray for these people, so encourage them and don’t treat like a mug.

They will eventually crack, that’s part of the struggle and wondering how they ended up in this muddled.

Start today

Call your sponsor or medical team, 

We are angry we get into this position, this is a nightmare to lose… not a dream.

You are walking down a path which you know where it shall lead, 

Now start today… Don’t feed an addiction.. that’s merely greed.

Say your prayers with humble grace,

May god be merciful in this is time and place.

May love be contained 

May the joy of new springs lift your soul,

A new start to be exampled

Inspiring words that are more than just a sample.

Bring joy to your soul 

And elevate the mood that you are in,

If it’s high… ? great 

The pattern to move forward has a kindness of fate. 

Love the hope your soul shall bring 

Love the aspiration which God sings

Pray gently on your dreams 

As life this year shall show splendour in realms.

You may feel alone

But you are NOT!

There is an Angel hoovering above us all

Through the pride you shall never fall.

Yet pride can also give you a lift,

So be humble and gentle with your hearts, there are plenty of gifts.

There is a chance to start again

The past is the past, leave it alone,

Yes, you have been through a storm? but you are still here…

You shall overcome many obstacles; how ? Because God has removed the tears.

Leave people to their own devices 

They will soon figure it out, 

Only God is our judge and jury 

and is the only one who can decide 

The new challenges shall await, so first say your prayers first as there’s no need to hide.

Adaptable in situations which once you couldn’t solve 

In prayer you shall grow, do new things and start to evolve.

Eyes wide open as it’s not always about you 

Yet be kind to your wants, and look to imbue.

Pray for those who love you 

Pray for those you don’t see everyday

Pray to those who you may not understand 

Remember this is a new beginning for us all, upright we shall stand.
