​Dear diary 
I am feeling low today, 
I have an eye injection caused by my diabetes, 
I tried to stay positive by going to the gym… my preferred kind to beating. 

Dear diary
I am suffering inside, 
I suppose we all have challenges to face
Medically and psychologically, but there are somethings I shall embrace. 

Dear diary
I write the good points about myself, 
It’s a pretty good list; it possess, kindness, love and laughter around 
Plus I have this gift of writing poetry, which is forever so profound. 

Dear diary,
Thank you for listening what I have to say, 
Despite the struggles I face inside
I say my three affirmations, and one of them is a blessing that today I am still alive.
